Tunneling
Tunnel is a construction which is built underground ,underwater or in the mountain by laying railway or highway to let motor vehicles pass through. Based on the site selection, tunnel is divided into mountain tunnel, submerged tunnel and city tunnel. Because of the specificity of the location, its exploration and digging must based on the surrounding terrain, geology and the distribution of the underwater. To ensure the traffic capacity smooth, we should reinforce and advance pre-support the tunnel when digging it.

When the tunnel is built in the terrain or the surrounding of broken rock, loose soil layer and difficult to drill, self drilling anchor bolt can put drilling, grouting and anchor together without casing pipe and drilling pipe, and then ensure the anchoring effort in the complicated geological condition. When the tunnel is influenced by the underwater, seawater or the chemical mediator, duplex coating rock bolt can come into play. This kind of production combines two different protecting ways together: hot-dip galvanizing and epoxy coating. Hot-dip galvanizing involves dipping the article with a chemically clean surface into a bath of molten zinc which reacts with the iron and forms a coating and to prevent rusting; Epoxy coating doesn’t react with acid, alkali. It has good chemical stability, ductility and small dry shrinkage. And it can separate water, oxygen, chloride and other corrosive medium. Meanwhile, it also create electric insulation layer which can insulate the electric current between steel bar and outside condition, which can reach the good result of corrosion prevention.
Under the circumstance of weak and broken rocks, to prevent tunnel collapse, rock deformation, and ensure construction quality and the safety workers, large- diameter pipe shed method is an ideal tool for supporting. Except for the basic parts: nut, coupler, drill bit, it has also the key parts: pipe shed body and domed plate.
In addition, tubular bolt can increase the contact area of the steel tube and the rock layer, which has the larger pulling-out force.

Beijing-Fuzhou High-speed Railway

The Beijing-Fuzhou High-speed Railway begins at Bengbu station of the Beijing Shanghai High-speed Railway line, and continue through Hefei (Anhui province), Huangshan (Anhui province), Shangrao (Jiangxi provice), Wuyishan (Fujian province), Nanping (Fujian province) and Fuzhou (Fujian province).

The Fuzhou-Hefei railway connects with the Fuzhou-Xiamen High-speed Railway in the south and Hefei-Bengbu High-speed Railway in the north. It is another high-speed railway designed to run at least 250 km/h and with a two-lane electrified standard following Beijing-Tianjin, Wuhan-Guangzhou and Zhengzhou-Xi’an high-speed railways.

The railway is completed in 2014. Upon completion, the journey time from Beijing to Xiamen by bullet trains is shortened to 9 hours from the past 31.5 hours.

Shanghai-Kunming High-speed Railway

The Shanghai-Kunming High-speed Railway is a high-speed railway line partially under construction in China. It is part of the CRH’s (CRH is short for China railway high-speed) system of passenger dedicated lines, beginning in Shanghai and ending in Kunming. It will parallel much of the current Lower-speed Shanghai-Kunming Railway. It will also pass through the cities of Hangzhou and Changsha.

Currently, the only section of the Shanghai-Kunming passenger dedicated line in operation is the section from Shanghai to Hangzhou, known as the Shanghai-Hangzhou Passenger Railway. The Hangzhou-Changsha section is scheduled to open at the end of 2014.

Xi’an-Chengdu high-speed Railway

Xi’an-Chengdu high-speed railway is a dual-track, high-speed rail line, under construction in western China between Xi’an and Chengdu. It will run 510 km through Shaanxi and Sichuan provinces and will accommodate trains traveling at speeds up to 250 km/h. Travel time between the two provincial capitals will be reduced from 13 to less than 3 hours.

The project was approved by the State Development and Planning Commission in October 2010. Construction of the Sichuan section of the railway started on November 10, 2010, and of the Shaanxi section, on October 27, 2012. It is scheduled to be completed by 2015. The line will traverse the rugged Qinling and Daba Mountains and connect the Guanzhong Plains and the Sichuan Basin.
