Advantages of SDA Bolt in Grouting

SDA bolt integrates drilling and grouting in the construction. After the hollow bar is installed, it’ll be grouted with cement slurry without casing and meanwhile it can avoid the gap in the cement.

The use of grouting pipe for continuous grouting can ensure 100% coverage rate and achieve a good anti-corrosion effect as same as the concrete reinforcing rebar. The cement slurry covering layer around the permanent anti corrosion SDA bolt can provide permanent anti-corrosion function.

SDA bolt has better properties than solid steel tube with the same cross section area due to the higher buckling and bending stability in the same tensile load and resistance.

When dynamic pressure grouting with cement suspension is used during drilling, the cement slurry and the surrounding soil form mechanical interlocking without casing. The mechanical interlocking effect enhances the shear adhesion. This means that the displacement of the non prestressed grouting pile head is only a few millimeters.

As a micropile, SDA bolt can be used as a tensile pile and also a compressible pile. It can be installed according to the certain angle of inclination to provide the solution of the mesh pile.
