Burial Depth Control of Self Drilling Bolt

Self drilling bolt, as a burgeoning foundation pit support pattern, has popularized and applied in many projects in the world. Its effect is remarkable and technology is advanced and practicable.

The depth of self drilling anchor bolt is related to the quality of project. During the process of grouting, actual elevation of concrete surface should be often measured, lifting height should be calculated, relative location between anchor bolt and concrete surface should be controlled. Generally, the depth of self drilling bolt should be controlled in 2~6 meters, otherwise, different forms’ quality problems will appear, which will then influence projects’ integral quality.

In addition, during the construction of cast-in place pile, to control pile head quality, the last grouting amount should be controlled well. Pile head should not be made low and exposed concrete should reach designed intensity value.

In actual operation, improper control of grouting amount, impurity concrete and hole cleaning not thoroughly all will have influence on quality of construction.
